You know you have become an expert when the subjets you enjoy talking about bore everybody else to tears...
Ok; here is the deal; if anybody asks you’ I created this site because I wanted to learn about these new-fangled “internet” the kids are all raving about. So, this site is just a practical exercise in my self-teaching of a new skill, fair enough?
But, to be honest, the truth is much sadder.
You see, I believe that the universe is a wonderful, fascinating, beautiful place to be. I also believe that science is the best way to see and understand this beauty and that this understanding only increase the awe... We are amazingly lucky to live at a time when these marvels are being brought to our attention like never before.
And I can spend hours talking about the latest factoid I stumbled about, where it be the role of prfA in the regulation of Listeria’s virulence genes or the evolutionary implication of the human thymus ontogeny, giggling all the time like a little girl on crack (a combination that can become lethal in minutes when “my little pony’ figures are added to the mix).
Anyway, I decided to unload my excess of enthusiasm for sciences, as well as anything else that would pick my fancy, on the world wide web, eh, if “slutty badgers gone wild” can received two million visitors a day, maybe this will find a couple of persons that enjoy my ramblings.
At least, I won’t embarrass my mates as much next time we go to the pub...
Oh; that… It’s a French song from the eighties. Quite catchy and it’s the first thing that popped into my head when thinking about creating this site.
Certainly not an imperishable piece of art, but a cute little happy song about how nice a planet we happen to live on and that we should dance on it…
